If an unexpected error situation occurs – What could you do?
If this happen you should investigate:
Ad 1: Read the online
help supplied with the program carefully. Have you followed the hints and
descriptions described by PetriSoft? Did you read ”Getting started...” ?
It is important you follow this instruction when you create new
databases or move it to another place.
If you can not see picture or receipts etc you have probably installed a
new version on a new disk drive. I.e. on drive ”D ” instead of drive ”C”. This is not so smart if you have put all
your pictures relative to the installation drive. The solution will be to
reinstall on the old drive/location.

Ad 2: If you can not solve the problems by your own
you can sent a mail to petrisoft@petrisoft.dk
Describing you problem in details (screen dumps etc) It will be a great
help if you activate the error diagnostic logging utility (XML formatted log
file) before you start the program.
This utility is available in all PetriSoft programs. By setting a flag
before you manually start the program, you can make a log with all important
operations performed until you exit.
The Log file can following be sent to PetriSoft for error inspection.
How to create the error diagnostic log file
This procedure is the same for all PetriSoft programs: CoinDB and ImageDB. Just replace
Indbo with one of the other program names.
